What subfloor preparation do you provide?

Survey & Sample Selection
We measure the area, assess the existing subfloor, and help you choose the right product, finish and underlay.

Subfloor Preparation
Old flooring is lifted, screws / nails removed, and the subfloor checked for level. Self-levelling compound is applied where needed.

Acclimatisation
For wood and engineered floors, planks are acclimatised in your property for 24 – 48 hours to prevent post-fit movement.

Underlay & DPM
Acoustic underlay and damp-proof membrane are installed where required to meet building regs and reduce sound transfer.

Precision Fitting
Boards or tiles are laid in your chosen pattern with tight joints, scribed cleanly to all edges, doors and pipework.

Beading, Trims & Clean-Up
Skirting / scotia / threshold trims are fitted, the floor is cleaned, and you receive aftercare guidance.
